"We were first introduced the Chelsea from Indigo Design through our builder, Deep Blue Builders. Chelsea was involved throughout from the plan to completion which for us as first time home builders, gave us a lot of comfort. Chelsea was open to hearing our many like and dislikes in houses and from these she formulated a design concept. The amount of pressure this took off us “guessing” about every detail was brilliant. Throughout the process, Chelsea was contactable, diligent in responses, had many site visits with our builder in our presence and absence. The end result speaks for itself. We are constantly showered with compliments about our home, its finish and furnishings – all done with what we call “a Touch of Chelsea”. Chelsea helped source the art, mirrors, furniture, linen, throws, pillows lighting, colours, tiles, flooring and so much more. It all looks amazing and what seemed like a big expense at the start actually turned out to be the best value for money we spent on the build. We had training in pillow and throw placement and even towel folding for maximum effect. It’s just amazing how things you never thought would work together just pop! At the recent photo shoot of the house, a little more “Touch of Chelsea” was added and again it transformed the place. We are extremely proud of our home and would not hesitate to get Chelsea involved again. Brilliant all the way through!"

"Our Federation style home was in much need of a refresh. Our aim, to breathe new life into it without losing the essence of the original style. Chelsea was recommended to us by Levan Design and was great at providing options and ideas, supporting us in some of our bold colour choices and encouraging us to forge ahead when we weren't totally sure. She was very patient as I changed my mind several times about the choice of tiles! Chelsea listened to our requirements and worked with us to make them a reality. For example, we were keen to retain cabinets and vanities that were in good condition rather than adding to landfill. Chelsea helped us to do this while transforming the existing fittings to a more contemporary look. She had a great team of trades working with her but was equally happy to work with alternatives that we selected. Her experience and love of design meant we were well guided throughout the renovation. And all this during the challenging COVID lockdown period! "I heard about Chelsea from Indigo Interior Design from a girlfriend who had Chelsea help her with styling her new townhouse in Northcote. When Ray and I purchased our established “renovators delight” in Wallan on a bit of acreage we contacted Chelsea for some inspiration. From the moment she entered the house on her first visit on site she had a vision of how it would work the best for us. After deciding to change a few rooms around we started picking colours. Before Chelsea left after that first meeting on site, we had our colour scheme all sorted and a real vision on how our new home was going to work best and look. We met up with Chelsea 2 days later to choose ALL our fittings and hardware. It was so easy. "I first contacted Chelsea after reaching a stalemate when it came to choosing colours, both internally and externally, and tile choices for our extensive Eltham renovation. We met together amongst all the 2020 chaos and hit it off straight away! With Chelsea’s love of everything Hamptons, much like myself, it was a match made in heaven. After the initial colour and tile choices were promptly made on our first visit, I quickly realised that Chelsea’s extensive library of ideas and connections were invaluable, and that we could definitely use her help moving forward. We proceeded to work side by side making selections together, everything from window furnishings, sofas, armchairs, artwork to rugs, bed linen, décor and other furniture.... there was so much to do! "We first contacted Chelsea to help us with the internal colour scheme for our home. We were thrilled with her initial help and guidance that we decided she was the person to help us with our full renovation. This incorporated everything; specifying new flooring, lighting, soft and hard surfaces. She then guided us through internal décor including feature walls and painting our ceilings charcoal in the living and dining room. She continued her magic into the laundry, wet areas and kitchen by coordinating the resurfacing and transformation of our existing veneer built in cabinetry to 2 Pac paneling throughout. Chelsea took the stress out of the process, located and recommended custom designed furniture such as bedside tables, entertainment units, our couch and a wine rack (with a draw for storage of keys, wallets, mobile phones etc. Items that had previously cluttered on our kitchen bench!). All at reasonable prices, beautifully matched and custom designed and built to exactly fit the available space. It is all brought together with linen, artwork and cushions.
